Teaching pronunciation and phonology is, to me, the most difficult part of English teaching. Even myself I am not really sure about how my tongue and lips and throats move when I am speaking English. Moreover, I have never really thought of where the stresses are when I am saying a sentence. I speak it naturally and thus has taken it for granted. This unit reminds me of this very tiny detail of the English language which I should be more aware of. All in all, this unit certainly provides me with great information about intonation, stress, phonemic system, as well as the mechanism of human's speech organs while speaking English.
