The variations of lesson planning are a surprise, as I always believed lesson plans were formal by definition. The suggestion to keep notes rather than scripting the entire lesson is valuable, as well as the suggestion to structure over a series of lessons, rather than simply one by one. I wasn't aware of the self-evaluation precedent, either. It seems like a very valuable exercise in order to know one's own weaknesses and address them.
