This is one of the best units of the course! We, teachers have faced lots of problems and difficulties on teaching the topics of this unit as we weren't also exposed a lot to pronunciation classes at school or universitity. What I always try to do is to pay attention to native speakers talking to me or other people so that I can have an idea of how to pronounce some words even the well-known ones. It has been a very useful technique for me because I can also see the difference between the British, Australian, American, Irish and other accents. In my oppinion, the best and fast way to familiarize with pronunciation, intonation and stress of words is to live in a foreign country where we would be exposed to the language all the time.
