Unit 6 covered the past tenses and went into detail about how they break down. We learned how to understand when they are used and how to teach them in a simple way. It was interesting to learn that there are no specific rules to teach students about irregular simple past forms. I believe learning these terms will be a matter practicing speaking out loud and being surrounded by a native English teacher who uses them regularly.
