From this unit I was able to get some lesson ideas for helping students with identifying irregular past simple verbs, so that they become easily identifiable to the students. My idea is much like the exercise from the task sheet; I will make a list of five or ten irregular verbs on a PowerPoint or write them on the board (before class) and have the students write them down and write the past simple form to those words. Depending on the level of the class I may also give a list of the past simple forms and have them draw lines to connect the correct words. While they are filling in their task sheets I will be seated and after they are finished I will choose students at random after I have asked the question. "What is the past simple form of 'see', (student name)".
