This unit addressed the key points that make a good teacher and the roles that teachers are expected to be. I agree with the points that were stated in the text about what makes a good teacher. They were points that I had thought of for myself as I was growing up analyzing my teachers methods and qualities and picking the best ones from each so I could apply it to myself as a future teacher. This unit also noted what makes a good student to help the teacher set up the students for success rather than failure. The different learning levels were also listed in this unit. It is important that the teacher is aware of every students' capabilities and weaknesses. It is also important that the teacher understands the capabilities of each learning level. The differences between adult and young learners were discussed and although they are both learners the differences are big and need to be understood to have a successful students.
