This unit showed me some good ideas of what not to do, and how to react to students. I feel that the most difficult part of teaching will be to encourage students to engage in their activities and to actively take part in class discussions because many students feel unsure or shy especially when they are beginners or not confident in speaking English. I think the best way to combat this is to create a very supportive atmosphere, and to encourage the students to speak as much as possible, so that throughout their course they will become more and more confident and comfortable with class activities.
