Both videos are an presentation of how at teacher's attitude and organization in the classroom can be very evident and apparent influences on the effectiveness of student progress. The first lesson demonstrated the (many times unintended) outcomes when an instructor approaches his classroom lessons with great haste, impatience, and lack of organization. The result is a confused and intimidated class room that, despite the efforts of some students to keep up with the instructor, respond with nothing more than bewilderment and confusion. Of course, the instructor's harried pressure on the students to answer prompted questions seemed to only exacerbate the effectiveness of the lesson.
In marked contrast, the second lesson demonstrated an effective teaching method that rested on an inviting and friendly attitude, punctuated organization of the lesson plan, and clear communication of the paradigms being taught. Furthermore, the instructor's moderate pace took a great deal of pressure off of students who otherwise needed bolstered confidence to answer prompts in a class room setting without fear of making mistakes. Removing the fear of making mistakes for students, in this case, is of paramount importance for a language instructor to be effective.
