This lesson went over the four aspects of the present tense form. Within those four aspects the forms, usages, typically errors or mistakes that the students might make, along with some activities to do with the students during the Activate stage of the lessons. The present simple tense's basic structure is first the subject followed by a verb in its base form. This tense is usually used for habitual actions, facts, et cetera. The present continuous tense's basic structure includes a subject, the auxiliary verb 'be' and a verb ending in '-ing'. This tense is used for developing actions that the speaker is still in the process of at the moment. The basic structure of the present perfect tense includes same as the first two the subject, but this one requires the auxiliary verb 'have' and past particle verbs that end in '-ed' (if the verbs a regular because irregular verbs do not follow the -ed ending rule). Lastly, the structure of the present perfect continuous tense is subject, auxiliary verb 'have' and also followed by been before the action verb of the sentence. This unit also went into the affirmative, negative, and question forms for each tense.
