In this unit we learn (i did not) the 4 forms of the past tense verbs. the past simple tense is used with completed actions in the past, with no connection with the present. The past continuous refers to past actions in progress. The past perfect tells of an action that was already finished when another past action occurred. And Finally, the past perfect continuous refers to an action in progress when another action took place in the past.This last tense needs two auxilaries; had+been+verb with ing. An aspect that i did not mention earlier is where foreign student will make mistakes . Once again thanks for the activities related to each tense.
