This unit was based around two ESA teaching videos. The same lesson was taught to a group of Thai students by the same teacher; however, there were a some significant differences in both lessons including the level of participation, overall classroom environment, and lesson plan structure. In one lesson, the teacher entirely skipped over the engage phase, while the other lesson had an effective engage phase. The students in one lesson were more reluctant and unsure, while the students in the other lesson were more confident, interested, and engaged.
