The unit includes overall classroom management techniques. These techniques include classroom arrangement; teacher's gestures, voice and eye contact; grouping students; writing on the board; the instructor giving individual attention; instructor and student talking time; maintaining and giving discipline; and establishing rapport between teacher and students. I learned that managing the class takes a teacher's effort and ability to identify and make changes where necessary.
