Despite being longer than the previous lessons, I found this lesson extremely informative as it taught me a set of concepts I was previously unfamiliar with. The explanations of the places of articulation and especially the chart at the end that brought it all together really helped me conceptualize the concept of English pronunciation and provided me with a great reference point to start learning and utilizing the phonetic script for whatever purposes necessary. I always highly enjoyed reading about linked speech and how it is the way English speakers naturally speak (and even text). I don't ask my friend, "what are you doing?" but rather "watcha doin'?' That doesn't mean there is anything wrong with my speech, that is simply how we speak and people need to understand that if they wish to understand us.
