This unit covered teaching productive skills. Productive skills are speaking and writing. I learned about accuracy and fluency activities. Accuracy activities are usually controlled by the teacher to ensure accuracy. Fluency activities are not as controlled by the teacher to encourage the students to be creative with the language. I enjoyed learning about the games that are helpful in teaching productive skills because I like to incorporate games in my lessons to keep students engaged.
