In this unit we studied about theories, methods and techniques used to instill knowledge by teachers when teaching English language. There are so many methods we studied in this unit some of them includes, Grammar translation, Audio-lingualism, Presentation,practice and production, Task base learning, communicative language teaching, community language learning, the silent way, Suggestopeadia, the lexical approach etc. but for this course it focus on the Engage,Study and Activate method which they think is the most logical and effective method to be use as a new teacher.
