This unit talks about Teaching productive skills, that are, speaking and writing. It also said the speaking and writing are equally important and that none is more important than the other. The unit also talks about three main speaking activities; controlled activities, guided activities and creative communication. It also explains how to encourage students to speak not to feel shy and also guidelines for free/creative speaking activities before, during and after class activities. Finally, the unit talks about writing skills and games we can play in the classroom that can motivate the students to be more active and enjoy the class. In all, I will say I have really enjoyed learning all these skills and I will make sure my student also have benefited from my teaching profession.
