In this unit i have learnt Modal auxilliary verbs are called helping verbs. Modals can be used in situation, like, obligation, possibility/probability, ability, advice. Modal verbs can be applied when using roleplay, rules, signs. I learnt that Active voice describes a sentence where the subject performs the action stated by the verb. While Passive voice is used when the focus is on the action. I learnt also that Clause is a group of words containing a subject and a verb. It has two types, defining and non-definig clause. The Phrasal verb is made up of a main verb together with an adverb or preposition, or both. It has three types, intransitive, transitive separable and transitive inseparable.
