This unit went over how to format conditionals and reported speech in English. I learned that there are five main conditionals: zero, first, second, third, and mixed, each used to express possibilities in either the past, present, or future that vary in their likelihood of occurring. I learned that reported speech, or indirect speech, changes the form of the original statement in actual speech into its appropriate 'past' version, since the actual speech and what it referred to has already happened.
