I have learnt about conditionals and reported speech in this unit. Our life depends on a huge number of conditions and this is reflected on our speech. A conditional sentence consists of two parts: the condition and the result. There are four types and in all types, inversion is possible. The concept of the reported speech refers to sentences that inform us about information from the words of another person. Besides the changing of verb tense in the reported speech, the reference to the one who speaks (the pronoun) as well as the words indicating the place and time also change.
