This unit is devoted to the topic Past tenses. there are four of them: Past Simple, Past Continuous, Past Perfect and Past Perfect Continuous. All of them have their forms and usages. Past Simple Tense indicates the complited action in the past. Past Continuous indicated the action in progress at a certain time in the past. Past Perfect indicates the action that was finished before the other past action or had the result in the past. Past Perfect Continuous indicates the action that was in progress at a certain time in the Past before another past action or had the result at a later point in the past. Regular and Irregular verbs have different forms for the Past tenses.
