In this section I reviewed basic English grammar rules and, in particular, I learned that many things that come natural to me as an English speaker may not come natural to a non-English speaker. Although I do not remember learning to speak English as a toddler, there are many more exceptions to rules than I realized and more complicated rules that I never had to learn in a classroom but seemed to come more natural (such as ordering adjectives in a sentence). It will be important that I learn how to teach these more complicated structures.
