In this unit, it introduces us conditionlas and reported speech.
Conditionals are sentences with "if" or "when", which refer to past, present and future possibilities.There are two clause: the "if" clause and the main clause.There are five main conditionals:
Zero Conditional:if/when + present tense, present tense
First Conditional: if + present, will
Second Conditional: if + past simple, would/ could/ might/ +base form
Third Conditional: if +past perfect, would/ could/ might/ +have +past participle
Mixed Conditional: if +past perfect, would +base form.
When turning direct speech into reportes speech, we should also know how to change the tense, the pronouns, and the expressions correctly.
