This unit discusses the importance of a supplementary material and textbooks for learning a language. Whereas a textbook provides an outline and goal and is an "easy" approach to planning lessons, creative material is also important to engage students by using everyday materials such as newspapers, or coming up with games that the students would enjoy. I think there needs to be a syllabus, as you cannot rely solely on creative materials for the progression of a course. However, I do feel the ambition to making activities that are tailored for specific classes and students.
