Understanding the future in English grammar is not very easy for a foreigner because many different tenses and ideas can be used with future meanings. However it is convenient to divide the future tenses into 7 types. 5 of these are real futures and then we can use present simple and present continuous and I think is very easy to understand when we choose them for future use. The hardest thing could be to understand the future perfect or the future perfect continuous. I believe that learning very well the present's tenses is the key for understanding the reasoning and the use of the various tenses, both in the past and in the future.
