This unit covered how to plan lessons and an overview of the importance of planning and tracking lessons. It helps to write down what you expect students to achieve by the end of the lesson, and sets goals for yourself and things to improve on. Tracking process is a good way to improve as a teacher as you can highlight parts to work on the next time. It also helps to maintain a record and a working document that you can refer to during class to help stay on target. Writing down lesson plans are very useful but also do not limit yourself to a fixed plan and be flexible according to the flow of the class. A teacher should also anticipate problems and prepare for them before class.
