It is an exciting time to be a teacher as the range of equipment and teaching aids available is immense. Something to consider is what teaching aid to use during different stages of the lesson. Depending on what is being used, there are advantages and disadvantages to the modality as well as considerations that makes planning important for teachers. I am glad that there was a note about the best way to emphasize language on the board. The unit notes that studies have shown that it is harder to read all caps text.
There are often ways to make the content more interesting and engaging for students with a little bit of thought and consideration. I am finding the list of online resources in this unit to be very useful. There are links that I am excited to explore for learning, dictionaries, media, literature, and additional resource databases.
