This unit's topic addressed common issues that can arise within an English class. Methodology to successfully teach the first lesson was discussed and I learned that it is important to first establish rapport with your students before jumping into the lesson. The more rapport you establish with the students, the more they will respect and want to listen to what you have to say as well as feel comfortable in the classroom. This unit was also helpful in listing types of games a teacher can use to warm up and get to know the students.
