Unit one is all about being a most effect teaching and creating a teachable environment for my students in a TESOL environment. This unit gave me a good understanding on how to verbalize specific concepts of that I had already been decently familiar. I learned much on the different types of age ranges as a language learner. This even helps me understand from being a student of learning Mandarin on how I can be a better. I can see that it will help me to try and step into the shoes of the students and attempt to understand where they are coming from in learning English.
