Unit 9 generally talks about the planning, functions and preparation of a lesson plan.It states the things which are supposed to be included in a lesson plan. It elaborates a sample lesson plan with all the steps a teacher has to follow when preparing a lesson.The unit again discusses some of the things a teacher needs to put in place before beginning a lesson. This unit has also treated some grammar content such as the present perfect tense, which is used to talk about experiences. It also discusses modal auxiliaries (may and might) stating when they can or can not be used.
The first thing i have learnt from this unit is the difference between "may" and "might". That is, "may" is used in a more certain occasion than "might". Furthermore, for the first time i have seen how a good lesson plan is structured and developed.I have also learnt that, as a teacher, i have to monitor my lessons so that, i correct my faults and improve on my ability and to make students like and enjoy English Language.
