Present tense I find a bit easier for teaching because most none English languages focus on present tense. Example Indonesia Bahasa. has no past or future tense. Where it becomes difficult is in the first, second, and third person. Examples I, you, she/he. And I find present perfect and present perfect continuous some times a bit confusing this
