In this unit the qualities of a good teacher were considered which allow to assess yourself. Knowing the different roles of a teacher, such as: manager, organizer, assesor, prompter, participant, tutor, resource, model, observer, makes it easier to organize the lesson in the best way. Aslo a good teacher should be flexible in using these roles during the lesson. A good learner is characterized by willingness to learn, desire to experiment with language, being open to correction, willingness to ask questions. We should understand difference between adult and young learners in order to chose the correct methods and activities. A teacher should know their students' cultural differences and custums. Students have six different levels of ability in the English language (Beginners, Elementary, Pre-intermediate, Intermediate, Upper intermediate, Advanced). There many reasons which motivate students to learn and therefore they have a greater chance of success.
