During this unit I learned that eye contact, gesture and using of your voice tone will help you to be a good teacher. I say this because eye contact ensures that students stay focused and it also indicates that you as the teacher is present and wants to be involved. Gestures are also important as it helps to manage the class or to convey instructions or messages. The tone of voice is also important and needs to be adjusted according to the size of the class. Having a strict voice may do the same amount of damage as a happy voice that students won't respect. You want your students to respect you as this will help with behavioral problems in the classroom.
