This unit provided much clear and much needed guidance for breaking down the parts of speech in a way that is both easy to comprehend and equally easy to remember. I feel I have learned how to effectively explain the mentioned grammar rules to English language learners whereas before, the topic of grammar made me quite uneasy, even as a native English speaker. Understanding the difference between the parts of speech such as differentiating between the three articles, utilizing prepositions based on time, place, and movement, as well as distinguishing the infinitive vs. the gerund, has really put grammar into perspective for me and has made me much more confident in my approach to explaining grammatical rules.
