In English language there are many tenses and structures that can be used to express future meanings. That is why learning future tenses can become challenging for students of different ages and levels. In addition to teaching basic future tenses such as future simple, future continuous, future perfect and future perfect continuous, teachers should draw students' attention to other tenses and structures with future applications, e.g. present simple, present continuous and be going to+infinitive as they are also very commonly used. As usual, future tenses require teaching forms and usages. Moreover teachers should bear in mind common mistakes and errors that might occur to help students correct them.
