This unit teaches how to be an effective teacher. In lesson one, I would have been unmotivated to learn. The teacher made students afraid to ask questions and I would have felt confused with the whole lessson. The teacher seemed frustrated with the students for having incorrect answers. He also seemed very unfriendly and the student participation was very minimal. Teacher's voice is very important as well. The teacher in first lesson sounds like he is angry all the time. He even hands out worksheets without telling the students what to do. Terrible would be the best fitting word to describe the first lesson. The second lesson is the exact opposite. The teacher is very engaging and keeps a smiling face all the time, which results in positive attitude of the students. He looks like he is interested in getting the students to learn. Instructions are clear and the voice of the teacher is spoken clearly and slowly. This unit was the most beneficial lesson so far as I was able to learn the characteristics of a good teacher. I was able to relate to the students in the first lesson, because I have also had a teacher who seemed very uninterested in teaching and sounded angry all the time. I was intimidated by him the whole time and did not get to learn very much in the end.
