Unit 1 was intended to help teachers become familiar with new terminology, teaching styles, and different types of students you will encounter. I learned terms that were meant to explain how a good teacher should interact with their students, one of these terms being "facilitator". A good teacher could become a facilitator by setting up activity in which all students can participant in to build stronger connects regrading new grammar points without much interference from the teacher. This was insightful because I can now employ these roles when deciding how to best serve my class needs.
