This chapter has given me an important overview on what makes a good teacher. The key points I have taken from the chapter is to be kind and patient, monitor each student and give each of them individual attention, gain knowledge on the subject that I am teaching, and enjoy the experience! I have also learned that sometimes a good teacher must take on different roles. Sometimes the teacher must take control of the classroom, while other times the teacher should organize and monitor interactive activities while staying in the shadows.
