This unit consisted of an overview of classroom management strategies. Arrangement of the classroom, factors affecting student behavior and appropriate teacher responses were all discussed. I appreciated the reminder that "showing is often more effective than telling". I find that this is something I as an experienced teacher sometimes forget. I also often need the reminder; "Do not say, do you understand", instead ask students to explain their understanding of the task to you.
