The content of this unit is about teaching receptive skills; Reading and listening. I learned from this unit the four basic skills in any language. Receptive skills- reading and listening , and productive skills- writing and speaking. Reading and listening is a matter of using our minds to literally understand words and process them in our pre-existent knowledge to gain true understanding. There are also problems that can encounter with listening and reading but I learned from this unit how to handle properly these problems so that teaching and learning will be more effective.
