Unit 3 maps out the phases of teaching, studying, and internalizing classroom lessons. It is important to note the comfort levels of individual students and groups of students in order to plan activities that best engage and improve their language comprehension (e.g. opting to facilitate a class debate for students comfortable with utilizing their skills in English over prompting a series of shorter, more narrow activities). Just like Unit 2 emphasized a balance among teaching methods, Unit 3 underscored the importance of relying equally on engaging, studying, and activating.
