The unit presents techniques for indicating and teaching stress. Articulation, especially the place of articulation, and then the manner of articulation are presented in great details by the lesson. I have learnt in this lesson that it is extremely important to learn and to teach the symbols (individual sounds) from the phonemic alphabet, because no matter where the students are from, if all use the same sounds, the same pronunciation, then there will not be any misunderstandings and therefore communication will be clear.
