This unit gives us insight into the circumstances that should be considered when teaching special groups. There are many different types of groups that are often taught English and they all require special attention. The type of students presented are beginner students, individual students, young learners/children, multilingual students, and Business English students. No two groups are the same and depending on their level, interest, and prior knowledge, the experience will be very different. This unit enlightens us and expresses the differences between these varying student groups. The unit also gives suggestions and examples of teaching methods that are appropriate for each student group.
