A course book is generally a mainstay for most English teacing classes.Students come to expect them and feel a sense of securu=ity when they have one to refer to.Therefore it is an important factor in a teachers planning and creating of the class they are to teach.Many books are absolutely awful and were quickly turned out for publishers to make money from.Don;t trust that they all have merit-they do not.Do your homework and really choose a good solid course book to guide both you and your students.
