This ninth unit discusses the advantages and disadvantages of Course Books and lesson materials. It thoroughly explains the selection of the course book and how best to create balanced and appropriate language material to replace, supplement and enrich the course book material. The course books suggested along with the specific examples of lesson materials have given me a clear guide to creating the most suitable and effective lesson that uses the advantages of an appropriate course book but is not limited to the same.
