In this section I found the phrasal verbs to be the most difficult to understand. If more examples were provided I think it may have been easier to understand. Modal auxiliary verbs were the easiest to understand, probably because they are used quite often. The usages vary between polite requests, permission, and certainty. There are other usages for the some of the auxiliaries such as prohibition and necessity. The passive voice is used when the writer or speaker does not want to specify who performed the action If they want the the listener to know then they can use by. I will need to review this section.
