There are four basic skills in any language, which are reading, listening, writing, and speaking. Furthermore in eleventh unit is only written about receptive skills, reading and listening. In order to choose a reading or listening for students, teachers shouldn’t use their interests. In other words, the topic should be more likely interesting to most of the students. Of course, there isn’t a topic which would be interesting for all the students, so over a period of time a teacher should teach different types of topics. It’s better to teach the students a text which isn’t difficult but still challenging. If the text is difficult, the students may lose motivation. As a result, for giving task a teacher should use the non-authentic material which contains less language. The examples of activate phase activity can be jumbles texts, where the students make a topic out of paragraph by putting them in order.
