This unit was the most revealing one of them all so far. I did not realize the many different ways in which English speakers can talk about the future. The unit walks through the typical structure that's seen also with the present and past (simple, continuous, perfect, perfect continuous) and not-so-typical structure seen in the three versions that are formed using the present tense (be going + inf, present simple, present continuous). I didn't realize the ability to talk about the future using the present tense and context. I can see now how difficult it must be for students to sort out and organize all these approaches in their minds. The unit follows the same structure as previous units and goes through usages, typical mistakes and teaching suggestions, however, the usage portions of this unit required much more of my time and consideration in order to fully digest when one future tense is used over another. In some cases, there really isn't a "wrong" answer (example: using future continuous or present continuous to ask a question), but one conveys more confidence as if you're trying to influence the reader while the other is more polite.
