A good teacher must love teaching , be kind and patient , motivated , understanding and able to assess the qualities of the learners. A good subject knowledge and a rapport with the students is essential .
A good learner on the other hand must also be keen ,willing and motivated . A good thought process and acceptance of own errors is essential for a successful learner .
There must be a very healthy teacher learner relationship where the teacher must change roles depending on the needs of the learner . Similarly the learner should be respectful yet comfortable with the teacher in the teaching learning process .
