Similar to the unit on the present tense, this unit covered the simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous forms of the past tense. I found it very helpful for digesting the past tense, but I also found it challenging to know when to use one over the other as I took the test. The past tense in English is not so simple to explain. It comes naturally to me, so I've never had to answer these types of questions. With that in mind, I can see how I can better explain the past tense to some new learners.
