This introductory unit has provided me with a detailed view of a teacher's responsibilities within the classroom. For example, the descriptions of the different roles of a teacher (i.e. manager, organzier, participant, facilitator, etc.) was very informative and enlightening. I also enjoyed reading about the qualities of a good learner (i.e. asking questions, accepting constructive criticism, and a desire to learn) and also a good teacher (i.e. kind and patient, loves to teach, able to motivate, develops a rapport easily, and correcting students in a gentle way). I am excited to continue with this course because I have a great desire to help others and I know I will accomplish this in the future.
